Your store name, your photo and the categories you sell in appear to customers ordering food, market goods and pharmacy items in the Topsy app.

The order lands in your dashboard
New orders arrive in the store dashboard with what was ordered and what it is worth. You work from a screen, not from a WhatsApp thread you have to scroll back through.

You prepare it in the time you set
You choose a preparation time when you register, and you set your opening hours. When the kitchen or the counter cannot take more, mark the store closed and orders stop.

A Topsy courier takes it out
The delivery is dispatched to a Topsy courier on the same network that carries Topsy Send. The customer follows it, and proof of delivery is kept against the job.
A day of drops, sent in one go
If you already have a list of customers waiting on orders, you should not have to book them one at a time. The logistics screen in the store dashboard takes the whole list.
- Upload the list
- Upload a CSV of deliveries. Every row is validated first, so a missing phone number or an address nobody can find is caught before a courier is sent to it.
- Dispatch together
- Validated rows are queued for dispatch as one batch, and you can assign a specific courier to a delivery that needs one.
- Your zones, your prices
- Set delivery zones and pricing rules for your own customers, and preview what a route costs before you commit to it.
- Cash on delivery, reconciled
- What was collected and what has been remitted to you are tracked separately, so the outstanding balance is a number you can read rather than a number you argue about.
- Proof on every drop
- Each delivery keeps its proof of delivery, so a customer who says the parcel never arrived has an answer waiting.
Money that arrives where you keep it
Customers pay in the app with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash or a card, and cash on delivery is still an option for the customers who prefer it.
Your share is held in a store wallet, and you decide when to move it out.

No payment is taken when you register. Topsy earns a commission on the orders it brings you.
Before you list
What does it cost to list a store?
The registration form takes no payment. Topsy earns a commission on the orders it brings you, deducted before your share reaches the store wallet.
Do I need my own riders?
No. Deliveries are dispatched to Topsy couriers. If a particular delivery needs a particular courier, you can assign one from the logistics screen.
Can I stop taking orders when I am busy?
Yes. Set your opening hours once, and mark the store closed from the dashboard whenever you need to stop taking orders for the day.
How soon can I start selling?
Your registration is reviewed by the Topsy team before the store goes live. You are given a private status link when you submit, so you can check the review without calling anyone.
What sort of store can list?
Restaurants, market and grocery sellers and pharmacies all order through the Topsy app, and any store can use Topsy couriers for its own deliveries. Pharmacies handling restricted medicine keep the prescription step in the app.
